What we answer
Corrections get priority. If a grade on this site is wrong, or an evidence base has moved and we have not caught up, send the page and the reason and we will look at it properly. If you can point to a systematic review, a regulatory decision or a trial we have missed, that is the fastest way to change a grade.
Requests for ingredients to review are welcome. We keep a list and work through it, prioritising ingredients with large markets and thin evidence bases, because that is where a reader is most likely to be misled.
What we will not answer
We cannot answer individual medical questions. We do not know your history, your medicines or your skin, and guessing would be worse than useless. For a condition, a suspected deficiency, a changing mole or a reaction to a product, the right routes are a pharmacist, a GP, or the NHS and British Association of Dermatologists patient information.
We do not accept samples, product submissions, sponsorship, guest posts, link insertions or paid placement, and we do not review named brands. Approaches of that kind are not answered.
