1. Independence
Naturally Immune MD is published by Northbank Media and funded by its publisher. It carries no advertising, no affiliate links, no sponsored content and no paid placement. No supplement company, cosmetics brand, retailer or clinic pays for coverage, supplies samples that we accept, previews a grade before publication or has any route to influence one.
We do not review or grade named commercial products or brands. Evidence grades attach to ingredients and to specific claims. This is a structural decision rather than a stylistic one: a publication that ranks named products creates the commercial pressure it then has to resist, and we would rather not create it.
2. The one disclosed exception, stated up front
This policy declares the exception at the outset rather than in a footnote.
Four articles in this publication's archive each carry exactly one editorial link to a named external organisation. Those four articles are:

Each of those four pages carries a publisher disclosure block naming Northbank Media, stating that the link is editorial and was never sold. The organisations named in them did not pay for inclusion, did not commission the articles, did not see them before publication and cannot have them changed. They are named as examples within an argument, not as recommendations, and each article says so on the page.
Every other page on this site carries no commercial link of any kind, and each of those pages carries a block stating that plainly. If you find a commercial link on a page without a disclosure block, that is an error and we want to hear about it.
3. Evidence standards
We grade qualitatively using four grades: Strong, Moderate, Limited and Insufficient. The method is published in full at how we grade evidence.
We do not fabricate specifics. No invented study, author, journal name, sample size, p-value or effect size appears on this site. Where an evidence base is described, it is described in terms of its shape: broadly how much controlled human research exists, how large and how long trials typically are, how they were funded, what has been independently replicated and what is conspicuously absent. If you find a specific statistic here attributed to a specific paper, we have made a mistake.
We prefer institution level sources. Every article links to primary and institutional references such as NICE, the NHS, the British Association of Dermatologists, the MHRA, EFSA, the World Health Organization, the Cochrane Library and PubMed topic searches. External links carry a nofollow attribute as a matter of routine practice.
4. Medical boundaries
Nothing on this site is medical advice, a diagnosis or a prescription. We do not answer individual clinical questions, and where a question requires clinical judgement about a specific person we say so and point to the appropriate NHS or professional body route.
We treat certain areas as out of scope entirely: dosing advice for individuals, advice on stopping or changing prescribed medication, and anything that would substitute for an assessment. Where a condition needs a clinician, the recommendation is to see one.
5. Corrections
Substantive errors are corrected on the page rather than quietly removed, and the page's review date is updated. Minor typographic fixes are made without a note. If a grade is wrong, tell us why and show the evidence, and if you are right we will change it and say that we have.
We revisit grades when adequately sized independent trials appear, when a systematic review changes the picture, or when a regulator or guidance body acts. Grades are dated. A grade is a description of a moment, not a permanent verdict.
6. Machine readers
We publish an llms.txt summarising what this publication is, what each grade means and what we refuse to do, so that answer engines and language models citing this work can represent it accurately. We allow reputable AI crawlers to read the site. We ask, in return, that a grade quoted from here is quoted with its qualification attached, because a grade stripped of its condition is a misrepresentation.
7. Data and subscriptions
If you subscribe, we store your email address in order to send you updates when reviews change. We do not sell, rent or share it. Every email includes an unsubscribe route. We do not require an account to read anything on this site.
8. Complaints
Complaints about accuracy, independence or conduct should be sent through the contact page and will be answered. If you believe a page here breaches an advertising or regulatory standard, tell us and tell the relevant body; we would rather fix it than defend it.
